The 2026 Biennial Meeting will take place on June 25-26, 2026, at the National University of Singapore.
The Meeting is co-organized by the ACCL and the Department of Chinese Studies at the National University of Singapore. The conference is also sponsored by the Department of Modern and Classical Languages at George Mason University.
The theme of the 2026 Biennial Meeting is „Humanities in Uncertain Times/不確定時代的人文視野“。
My presentation is part of the thematic panel on „Sinofuturist Speculative Imaginaries: From Late Qing Science Fiction to Contemporary Media Art“ , I will speak about a multimedia artwork series which uses sci-fi narratives to engage with the history of Hongkong.
